In the Diocese of Surabaya, PULPEN is the service center that connects the many actors of Catholic education.
Synergy of diocesan units: PULPEN works alongside KOMDIK and PUSPAS. While KOMDIK focuses more on spiritual formation, PULPEN works on provider coordination, quality assessment, research, and education aid.
The Exitus-Reditus principle: Education is directed to return as a real gift to the Church through excellent people and the strengthening of the community’s livelihood.
Vicariates & parishes: The vicariate coordinates a region; the parish is the grassroots companion of schools in its area.
